March 22, 1989

The scientists with a desire to build a private enterprise with base of intelligence.

SECOIN Service Consultant and Informatics Company was established by Prof. Dinh Xuan Ba, family and professors and staff of Hanoi Polytechnics University under the Decision No. 01 / QDTL of Vietnam Informatics Association.

APRIL 1991

The first headquarter of Secoin was located at No. 9 Da Tuong, Hanoi. Later, in April 1991, Secoin moved to 40 Ba Trieu, Hanoi.

AUGUST 1991

Reaching overseas to exploit the domestic potential

SEKOPOL company in Warsaw, Poland was founded by Mr. Dinh Hong Ky. The Ministry of Economic Cooperation of Poland had authorized SEKOPOL on behalf of Poland to receive payment for Vietnam's debt with natural rubber through the Vietnam Rubber Corporation (GERUCO).

DECEMBER 1992

December 1992

Transforming to Limited Company model and changed its name to Secoin Service, Trading and Investment Company Limited one of the first limited companies in Vietnam operating under the enterprise law. At the same time, Secoin's head office was relocated to Floor 3, Cho Hom, Hue Street, Hanoi. The main operation of the company was consulting, technology transfer and tourism services.

MARCH 1995

Starting the journey of "Creator of non-burnt building materials industry in Vietnam"

Secoin is the representative and equipment distributor of 25 foreign firms to import advanced technology equipment into Vietnam. In 1995, Secoin carried out "turnkey project" to supply equipment, install and transfer the first block factory in Phu Ly. Within less than 10 years later, 50 factories manufacturing non-burnt construction materials were transferred technology by Secoin throughout Vietnam.

SEPTEMBER 1996

Start in production

Secoin inaugurated a concrete block factory in Van Dien (Hanoi) and became the first company to produce concrete block in Hanoi market.

OCTOBER 1996

Secoin supplied concrete block to Horizon 5-star Hotel – the first construction in Hanoi using concrete block.

APRIL 1998

The first terrazzo tile was produced by Secoin in Vietnam

Started to build terrazzo tile factory (SETERRA) invested by Secoin in Cau Dien, Tu Liem, Hanoi.

END OF 1999

Start the journey to bring Secoin products to the world market.

Secoin signed the first contract to export terrazzo tiles to Japanese market. Up to now, Secoin has had a firm foothold for more than 20 years in this very demanding market.

JUNE 2000

Acquiring a Japanese enterprise

Secoin signed a contract to buy the entired high-quality brick company SUPER BRICK (100% Japanese investment) specialized in producing block in Chuong My, Ha Tay. After that, Secoin merged Cau Dien factory to become the biggest company producing non-burnt construction material including concrete block and terrazzo tiles - now become Secoin Ha Tay Company Limited.

JULY 2000

ProUd to provide tiles for sacred Ho Guom (Sword Lake)

On the 990th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, Secoin terrazzo tiles were selected for use in the system of walkways around Ho Guom Lake and key projects of the Capital. Many years later until now, terrazzo tiles manufactured by Secoin or transferred by Secoin have been present in all 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

Opening of the head office at 59 Hang Chuoi, Hanoi

Establishing Secoin Saigon, marking the presence of Secoin in the Southern market

JUNE 2003

Building Secoin factory in Hung Yen

Building Secoin Factory in Moc Ty, Trung Trac, Van Lam, Hung Yen to produce abrasive stone. Later on, this factory specialized in producing concrete roof tiles provided for the entire Northern market.

March 2004

Secoin was granted the ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate by BVQI (UK) for the first time.

Later on, member companies of Secoin Group in all 3 regions got ISO 9001 certification in 2015 version. In addition, Secoin's production system also achieves a lot of domestic and international quality certificates.

September 2005

Secoin changed the logo and brand indentity with the consultation of Richard Moore Associates (USA).

APRIl 2008

Acquiring a controlling stocks in Saigon Terrazzo Joint Stock Company and changed its name to Secoin Saigon Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company (Binh Duong)

Until now, the company's factory located in An Binh, Di An, Binh Duong has become the main factory in Secoin's production system in all 3 regions.

JULY 2009

Secoin took over Thanh Danh

The Vietnamese traditional cement tiles, which was started in 1910 by Brossard & Mopin (France), was restored by Secoin, continued and developed to brilliant periods.

AUGUST 2009

Secoin was equitized

A series of Northern companies of Secoin such as Secoin Hanoi, Secoin Ha Tay and Secoin Hung Yen have been equitized and operated as joint stock companies.

January 2014

Opening new showroom in Ho Chi Minh City

November 2014

Secoin Da Nang Joint Stock Company has officially come into operation

The factory is located in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, marking Secoin’s official presence in Central Vietnam

Mark the 50th exporting market of Secoin

December 2016

Secoin was recognized as a National Brand of Vietnam for the period of 2016-2018

January 2017

Secoin Saigon built new office and showroom in Ho Chi Minh City

This Secoin building has become the largest artistic tiles exhibition center in Vietnam.

May 2017

Opening of Secoin artistic tiles Showroom at 477 Dien Bien Phu, Da Nang City

July 2017

Secoin held the Opening Ceremony of Secoin Western Saigon Joint Stock Company in Le Minh Xuan Industrial Zone, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City

March 2018

Secoin signed the contract with Panasonic ESBCT Education and Training Institute (Japan) for lean manufacturing consultancy program for Secoin's production system.

Up to now, only Secoin is the Vietnamese company consulted by this organization.

JULY 2018

Products of Secoin brand reached the 60th export market over 6 continents.

JUNE 2018

Secoin launched a new brand identity system

December 2018

Secoin continues to be recognized by the Government as a National Brand in period 2018 - 2020 and honored to receive the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit
