September 24th 2018 – 20 year anniversary for the first terrazzo tile produced in Vietnam by Secoin

This day 20 years ago, September 24th 1998, the first terrazzo tiles in Vietnam were produced by Secoin with the equipment, technology and expert from Italy at Secoin Cau Dien factory – Hanoi (has been relocated to new factory Secoin Ha Tay)

Those very first out door tiles produced by airtight pressing technology were named Terrazzo following its Italian name, and till now it becomes the popular name for this tile nationwide. Up to now, Terrazzo is still the trademark owned by Secoin recognized by Vietnamese Government.

Terrazzo tile has become a popular building material product in Vietnam. Therefore, in 2007 the national quality standard TCVN 7744 for terrazzo tile was issued and in 2013 this standard was upgraded to TCVN 7744:2013.

TERRAZZO trademark has been registered by Secoin with register No. 42905 certified by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
