The exchange between University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from the US and Secoin Corporation

Morning of the 31st of May 2017, at the office/showroom of Secoin Corporation in Saigon, there was a visit and exchange between University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from the US and Secoin Corporation. 

Morning of the 31st of May 2017, at the office/showroom of Secoin Corporation in Saigon, there was a visit and exchange between University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from the US and Secoin Corporation. This event is a part of the summer program of the students of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s group consisted of 14 people, including 1 professor, 2 group leaders and 11 students.

During the exchange, Secoin has introduced to the students a brief information about Secoin, and the history of Secoin encaustic cement tiles and products which brought Secoin a position on the international market.

Coming from the most developed country, the US students are very familiar to machine-made industrial products, but when they found out that the products made by Secoin are completely handmade, they were really surprised and amazed by the skilfulness of Secoin’s artisans.

The exchange and visit took place very lively and received some enthusiastic responses from the whole group of students during the Questions and Answers section, directly answered by Mrs. Vo Thi Lien Huong - General Director of Secoin Corporation.

To finish the program, Secoin employees have performed for the guests from the far west the song "Hello Vietnam" as a sincere greeting. Hopefully, this trip will provide the students with useful practical knowledge, as well as interesting experiences and memories in Vietnam.
