Secoin encaustic tiles accompany the Event Series - Ho Chi Minh City, Heritage - Connection

On March 7, 2024, Secoin participated in the series of events "Ho Chi Minh City, Heritage - Connection" and introduced traditional Vietnamese encaustic tiles with 114 years of history. Secoin encaustic tiles are considered one of the pure Vietnamese products with value as a heritage that needs to be preserved and developed.
In the opening morning of the series of events, Mr. Dinh Hong Ky, Chairman of Secoin System - a businessman known as the "Preserver of traditional bricks" gave an introduction about "6 CRITERIA TO HELP SECOIN CEMENT TILES BE SUCCESSFUL CONSIDERED A VIETNAMESE HERITAGE PRODUCT", including: Historical value over many generations (hereditary); Cultural and architectural value; Authenticity and uniqueness; Connectivity and community connection; Social recognition; Sustainability.
 



 
On the afternoon of March 7, 2024, the delegation of the program "Ho Chi Minh City, Heritage - Connection", led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam - President of Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, member of the Board of Directors Manager of the Fund for Supporting the Preservation of Vietnamese Cultural Heritage visited and discussed at the Secoin office and showroom in Ho Chi Minh City. The visiting delegates were surprised when entering the display space of colorful and patterned encaustic tiles and heard the story of the ups and downs of Vietnamese encaustic tiles over many generations. In particular, the discussion had the participation and comments from Journalist Vu Kim Hanh on how to preserve and develop Vietnamese heritage products.
 




 
In addition to traditional product elements, the seminar also emphasized the efforts of businesses such as Secoin with encaustic tile products and Minh Long with ceramic products that have not only preserved Vietnamese heritage products but also bringing products to many countries around the world.
